Salt Spring and Other Things

So for the first time in my 19 yrs of life I have traveled across to the B.C. Islands. Its like Canada's own personal version of Hawaii  It is absolutely gorgeous and quite the experience. I would recommend if anyone needs some inspiration or just an amazing peaceful holiday you go to Salt Spring Island or any of the other small B.C. Islands.

My best friend moved down so I gave her a ride to her new home; Salt Spring Island. It was an amazing good-bye holiday and I plan on returning. 
The first day we were there we traveled the whole island, sight seeing and gift shopping, and of course exploring. I went in the ocean and collected many huge sea shells. We went to these cute little quaint coffee shops and had London Fogs and steamed milks with flavor shots. YUMMY!! There were also art galleries with huge sculptures worth hundreds of thousands of dollars that had them set up in the forest. it was amazing.

The whole island is a "hippy" island. People hitch hike and car pool, everything is made of recycled fabrics, and everyone has a vegetable gardens. I bought so many fresh veggies it was crazy. There is no pollution  as there are no power plants or pulp mills and there are so many shops with hand made materials. Home made lunches, it was amazing. I even gave a complete stranger a ride! I would never dare to do such a thing on a regular basis, but it is though everyone is trust worthy and so it causes you to relax and e the same. It is definitely a peaceful island.

Alannah and I went on a hike in a park and even got to see a seal :D. We also got to go to the very top of a mountain and got to stand in the clouds at the top of the island. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. There was a goat farm with goat cheese and goat gellato. We got to try all the kinds of cheeses and flavors. it was amazing. 

I can't wait to go back!

Life's Not Always A Beach

Life isn't fun and games once you are an adult by law, in fact i swear the world is sometimes out to get you. But don't let it get you too down, that's just how shit rolls.
I find life always has ups and downs that come in sets of bad, good, bad. For example here are mine from the last couple of months:
Hotel fires me but says i quit, I got a different Night job i shall not disclose, I had to quit that job because my room mate/ best friend told my mother who didn't approve.
I finally kissed the guy of my dreams in a hot tube, but then i had to work at the club and our night ended short, but it was amazing, but now he doesn't talk to me anymore.
I got a new rescue horse named jewels, but Korinna ended up loosing too much weight over the winter and through spring, i had to sell jewels because she was too much for me, but i got Frank and moved the horses to a better place.
My parents separated for good, but mom moved to salmon arm with the youngest sister Tori, but Paige is living here, but my dad is charging me $350 to live with him.
I can't afford to go to school, I have a job at a golf course and quit the night club, but i now have my bar tending degree.
I met Spencer and he's a redneck (which is awesome, he rides horses (well when i ask him too but he doesn't bitch about it he actually somewhat has fun, my dad liked him at first, but dad heard some things about him and he is unemployed and falls asleep on me all the time and we are starting to argue a bit because i'm not so happy with him always sleeping while we hang out or always hanging with only his friends and especially the fact he doesn't have a job and is super possessive. 
I am so in debt I can't even think, but my horses keep me wanting to push forward and Copper (oh ya i got a new puppy on xmas eve. he is a bloodhound cross and is irritatingly stuborn but adorable and talks to me all the time) always helps me get a good smile and laugh. 
Thus I have two amazing horses and a puppy and a great guy, who needs to get a job and let me have some freedom, and at least i still have Paige to keep me laughing when she gets home, but hopefully I can get a better job. 

The Friend Zone

One thing I absolutely can't stand is when guys bitch about us women putting them in the friend zone, when they do the same thing to us. Guys are always saying "You say all guys are assholes or whatever, how bout checking the friend zone?!" 
Well same to you guys. 
Guys always complain about girls who cheat, or they are sluts, or whatever. Here's the thing boys; Check the friend zone because, a girl who is loyal to you and you can be with easily when you are not in a relationship, is the girl you should marry. 
On top of that, when a girl likes you and you like them back and tell them this it's like giving them false hope. You don't go: " I really like you, but the thing that is stopping me right now is (place lame excuse that differs every time here)" 
You either tell us the real reason straight up, or you freaking date us.
Cause it's like once you are in the friend zone you can almost never get out. I swear 95% of the time you will be stuck there with this guy or girl your entire life.
I am going through this friend zone crap with one of my best guy friends. He is a bit younger than me but when we hang out we are both able to de-stress and relax and just be ourselves. We can watch a movie or just lay on each other's beds and just chill. We work great together and my parents like him and my siblings like him, and I like him a lot. He says he likes me but won't date me. He wants to wait until after high school, but then he wants to work and maybe live out of town with his buddy. He also says he wants to wait until there is more time in our lives and I am less stressed because of what is going on in my life right now which i respect but it seems like one excuse leads to another. His and my friend J, told me he thinks its because if i haven't noticed he is never on good terms with his exes and that maybe the guy i like is afraid of losing me in his life. which makes sense. But, ugh, its so silly cause i really, really like him haha. 
What can you do i guess. 
So next time you consider putting someone in the friend zone put yourself there first and remember how it feels.

A Note To Bell Mobility

So today I go to use my phone, and it tells me my SIM Card is rejected. So i try turning it on and off a few times, pulling the battery out, pulling the SIM card out, everything I can think of. So I finally decide this isn't working, so off to the bell store i go. I get there wait forever in line just for the guy to tell me the bill that was JUST PAID like a week ago, isn't paid so they shut down service to my phone. If I didn't have 2 yrs left on my contract with them I would get a phone with Rogers or something. So I have no phone until who the hell knows when :S. MAN DO I HATE BELL!!

How to Cook Dinner When you Can't Remember Your Own Recipe

So tonight my aunt asked me to make some recipe i invented when i was 10...lucky me that was a 8 years ago so hell if i know haha so here us how to fake a recipe you cant remember:


Step 1. Tell the people you actually remember the recipe

Step 2. Remember the two base elements of the recipe (for me this is milk soy sauce and chicken and yes that is three but only 2 are essential if you cant remember the third)

Step 3. Thrown in some spices that smell good, doesn't matter how many, lots of spices will cover up if you do a bad cook job.

Step 4. Throw in some colorful veggies to make it look appealing, avoid colors that may make it apear "barf like" i.e. weird orange color with the soy sauce might do this so i used yellow

Step 5. pour in a shit ton of the milk and spices and soy sauce with the veggies, then throw in the chicken.

Step 6. act like you know what your doing while turning the heat just under high so it cooks fast.

Step 7. Stand at the stove while on a laptop and act like you are watching the dinner cook when in reality you are not really paying attention.

Step 8. add more spices, this will make it look professional, and like you know what you are doing.

Step 9. Wait til it is cooked, poke it, prod it flip things over stir. all those will make it look once more like you know what you are doing.

Step 10. serve with rice or something the dinner eaters can smother it in if it tastes bad.

** Remember if they say it doesn't taste the same just tell them they don't remember it right or make some lame excuse like they are getting sick so their taste buds a wrong***

Easter Chocolate

So granny and I went to town today because after Easter all the chocolate is half price or sometimes you get even better deals. We had a lot of fun picking out chocolate and laughing at weird looking ones, you know the usual craziness haha. So i got a kinder surprise pack and built the toys and placed them around the house because it aggravates my aunt...she has yet to notice haha. Can't wait until she does.

I miss my sister so bad I miss her funny Paige-ness. on top of that there is a creepy guy I met who is like stalker weird. We hung out twice and he was like "ilu" and "i miss you" and "i can show you how to love again" and i was like whoa buddy you're creeping me out. So I was talking to my friend Caleb and he told him off cause even after I said I was not interested and to leave me alone this guy wouldn't leave me alone. It worked for about a week or 2 and now he's back to bugging me so i told Caleb and he said he's going to come down here and scare him off I told him no violence haha. Caleb is my hero. And I am just hoping that Caleb comes down to visit me I miss him he's a good friend hell he was there to listen to all my issues with Myles and, Chandler and Myles, any girl should kill to have him (not literally) but he will make someone a good bf eventually.

Today I'm going riding with Deziree at 4:30 when she gets home I am so excited to go riding today, I really can not wait until Spec gets his shoes on so that he can go for a bit longer.
